Dr. Thomas and Dr. Jeffries are participants in the local CHAPS organization. Coalition Health Access Program (CHAPS) is a group of physicians who offer their services at no charge to adults of low income or those without insurance. The Center for Plastic Surgery at Copper Ridge, supports The Great Lakes Children’s Museum,The Women’s Resource Center, Zonta, Shore-to-Shore, and Relay for Life. The Center also supports health care scholarships at Northwestern Michigan College and the work of Child and Family Services of Northwestern Michigan, as well as numerous local breast cancer events, including Bras for a Cause.
